55 Ford Crown Victoria Mods
This is another of my 1:18 scale models. I won this off of Ebay, it came with the 55 Buick Century Convertible which I've also posted.
When I got it, she was in need of some detailing. The paint needed some attention as far as cleaning and waxing. then the trim needed help with some black paint. Also, not sure why, but Road Champs when to a great bit of detail with the body and trim. I'm not sure why they couldn't have continued that to the wheels. The hubcaps that came on it were awful! So, I replaced them with a set of hubcaps off of a 1:16 scale 57 Thunderbird. I'm still not really happy with these, but until I'm able to win a 55 1:16 scale Thunderbird these will have to do.
Same drill though, Middle top pic is one off the internet showing how it would have looked when I got it. Mine didn't have the display base however or a box. Bottom middle is during detailing and the right and left images are after detailing. They were all assembled in Photoshop, including the text.
My Irish Timbuk2 & its contents
It really isn't as overloaded as it seems. Most of this stuff is light and compact and I keep it fairly organized. This bag has become a faithful companion to me. The only things that arent in the picture are the camera, a zippo, a retractable ipod sync cable and a madsonline "lucile" Powerbook charger which hopefully will be coming in the mail shortly. Let me know what you think!
